Job Description

As a Pre-Sales & Offerings Leader/Thought Leader GCP Cloud & Infrastructure Solutions Architect at Cognizants CIS Cloud Solutions Team, you will play a vital role in shaping strategic pursuits and delivering GCP Cloud solutions for both existing and prospective clients. Your responsibilities will include: - Mapping customer problems to GCP offerings and capabilities. - Assisting sales teams in consultative selling and strategic positioning of Cognizants GCP value proposition. - Partnering with internal clients to explore options and define cloud transformation needs. - Owning the solution narrative and strategy for GCP pursuits, including hybrid-cloud, containerization, and data modernization. - Designing compelling, innovative, and competitive client propositions for GCP infrastructure, security, and AI/ML workloads. - Participating in the full pursuit lifecycle, including qualification, solutioning, presentations, reviews, and deal closure. - Collaborating with vertical leaders and delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility and profitability. - Contributing to RFI/RFP responses and customer-facing presentations. - Reviewing cost models and ensuring financial optimization of proposed solutions. - Drafting and reviewing Statements of Work (SoWs). - Providing thought leadership in GCP solutioning and educating teams on market trends and offerings. - Collaborating with Google Cloud and internal partners to enable solution teams on emerging technologies. To be successful in this role, you should have: - Minimum 7 years of experience participating in the sales cycle of digital services. - Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 3 years focused on GCP. - Experience in contributing to large deals sales (>$10M) involving multiple solution towers. - Deep understanding of GCP services including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and Anthos. - Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Deployment Manager), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Proven ability to learn new technology continually. - Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. - GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification preferred. - Experience with cloud security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
