Job Description

Job Summary:

GCP Cloud Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
.
Work with
GCVE (Google Cloud VMware Engine)
for virtualization and migration use cases.
Develop and maintain
CI/CD pipelines
using
Cloud Build
and other automation tools.
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using
Terraform
for cloud environment provisioning.
Collaborate with application and DevOps teams to streamline infrastructure and application delivery.
Monitor cloud systems, optimize performance, and troubleshoot issues.
Ensure cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
Prepare documentation, architectural diagrams, and technical reports.

Required Skills & Experience:

48 years of experience as a
Cloud Engineer
or
DevOps Engineer
with strong GCP exposure.
Expertise in
GCP services
, networking, storage, compute, IAM, and security.
Hands-on with
GCVE
, VM migration, and VM lifecycle management.
Strong experience in
Terraform
for IaC.
Solid understanding of
Cloud Build
, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized deployments (good to have).
Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work in an independent, remote setup.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
