Gaming VFX Artist

As a skilled technical artist with experience in the gaming/VFX industry, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning PC/Mobile Tech Demos showcasing hardware prowess at Qualcomm's in-house Game Studio. Your primary duties will include researching and implementing art workflows, creating tools to meet game production needs, and quick prototyping of design ideas using Unreal blueprints. You will also be optimizing performance for the target hardware, enforcing quality, and performance standards set by department heads. Key Responsibilities: - Research and implement art workflows - Create tools to meet game production needs - Quick prototyping of design ideas using Unreal blueprints - Optimize performance for the target hardware - Enforce quality and performance standards set by department heads Qualifications Required: - 7+ years of Gaming/VFX industry experience in Realtime rendering - Demo Reel and technical breakdown demonstrating technical proficiency - Experience optimizing 3D environments, lighting & materials - Knowledge of Draw calls, Shader complexities, and solving material-collision issues - Familiarity with Particle system creation and optimization techniques - Strong debugging skills and ability to troubleshoot workflow issues - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Ability to work independently - Experience supporting art teams in a game development environment - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience - 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - A BS, MS, or PhD degree in an engineering or computer science related field If you are passionate about gaming, possess strong technical skills, and have experience in Realtime rendering, this role at Qualcomm India Private Limited could be an exciting opportunity for you.,
