Game Developer (Unreal Engine)

As an Unreal Engine Game Developer at our company, your role is vital in creating cutting-edge interactive experiences. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, implementing, and optimizing gameplay mechanics, systems, and tools in Unreal Engine using C++ and Blueprints. - Collaborating with designers, artists, and animators to seamlessly integrate assets and systems. - Ensuring optimal performance and memory usage across various platforms. - Debugging and resolving technical issues related to game development and deployment. - Participating in code reviews, planning sessions, and feature discussions. - Keeping up to date with Unreal Engine updates and best practices. To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Strong proficiency in C++ and experience with Blueprints. - Solid understanding of game development fundamentals such as rendering, physics, and networking. - Experience with version control systems like Git and Perforce. - Familiarity with optimization techniques and performance profiling. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills. - Experience with multiplayer/networked gameplay development. - Knowledge of VR/AR platforms and tools. - Previous work on console, mobile, or PC games. - Familiarity with Unreal Engine's Niagara and Chaos physics. You should have at least 2+ years of experience developing games or real-time applications in Unreal Engine. A degree in any field is required for this position.
