This role is with one of our partner companies — an early-stage gaming startup founded by alumni of Disney, Google, Pixar, and Epic Game . They’re building the next-generation gaming platform — where immersive storytelling meets technical brilliance. If you’re passionate about gaming, code, and the craft of building magical experiences, this is your shot at getting in on the ground floor of something truly special. 🛠️ What you’ll do Build and optimize immersive game experiences using Unity or Unreal Engine Work with designers, artists, and engineers to bring gameplay mechanics to life Rapidly prototype new features and iterate based on internal feedback Dive into the codebase to fix bugs, polish interactions, and refine gameplay feel Experiment with new tools, frameworks, and game engines as we grow ✅ You’ll do great if you: Have 0–2 years of experience in game development (internships & personal projects count!) Are passionate about gaming — you play games, love them, and dream of building them Have worked on games in college, game jams, personal side-projects, or open-source Are comfortable with Unity or Unreal Engine (either one is great) Write clean, modular, and maintainable code Love collaborating and learning from a team of creative misfits ⚡ Bonus if you: Know or are curious about Verse (the new language from Epic Games) or Haskell Have contributed to shipped or published games (even small ones) Are interested in procedural generation, graphics, or gameplay systems Have a strong GitHub or portfolio to showcase Dream of working at the intersection of storytelling, design, and code 🎯 Why this is special You’ll work closely with founders who’ve built stories, games, and worlds loved by millions You’ll be joining a zero-to-one journey — shaping the game and the company from the ground up You’ll get massive ownership, early equity, and the chance to do your best creative work We don’t care about degrees or pedigree — we care about your passion and potential If you’re an ambitious, solid coder who’s obsessed with building the future of games — we want you.
