Role Overview: You are a high-IQ, driven, and player-obsessed game designer who will join the team to help create groundbreaking entertainment products validated by real players at every development stage. Key Responsibilities: - Design Documentation: Write comprehensive game design specifications and feature docs informed by research and player validation findings. - Quality & Polish Ownership: Drive game polish and uphold the quality bar by working closely with engineers, artists, and level designers to ensure features meet high standards and feel great to play, using player feedback as a key measure of success. - Market & Player Analysis: Continuously analyze top-performing mobile and shooter games to understand market trends and player expectations. Produce detailed, analytical breakdowns of reference games to inform design decisions. - Player-Centric Validation & Research: Design and execute a comprehensive validation strategy for new features, systems, and content. Run surveys, conduct focus groups, and translate player feedback into actionable design improvements. - Direct Community Engagement: Actively participate in community channels to understand player motivations, pain points, and desires. Build relationships and foster a feedback loop that informs design decisions daily. - AI Integration: Research and implement AI tools to enhance game design and validation process. Explore AI applications for prototyping, analyzing player sentiment, testing, and content creation.
