Role Summary We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our growing in-house MEP team. The role involves designing, reviewing, and coordinating electrical systems for industrial, commercial, and institutional projects. The candidate will work closely with architects, other MEP disciplines, and contractors to ensure safe, efficient, and code-compliant designs. Key Responsibilities Design & Documentation • Prepare and review electrical load calculations, power distribution layouts, and single-line diagrams. • Design lighting, small power, earthing, lightning protection, and cable routing systems. • Develop panel schedules, equipment specifications, and BOQs. • Ensure all designs comply with NBC, IS codes, IEC, and local statutory requirements. • Prepare drawings in AutoCAD / Revit MEP. Coordination & Collaboration • Coordinate electrical layouts with architectural and structural teams. • Collaborate with HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting engineers to avoid service clashes. • Attend internal and client meetings; support Senior MEP Lead in design presentations. • Provide technical inputs during tendering, vendor evaluation, and site execution support.
Roles & Responsibilities 1. Analyzing building specifications, codes and sites. 2. Creating technical drawings from structural sketches and specifications. 3. Using CAD software to create drawings that incorporate exact measurements, calculations, building codes and other construction details. 4. Printing CAD drawing schematics for use by architects, construction managers and structural maintenance engineers. 5. Entering CAD data into building information modeling (BIM) systems to create 3D models and renderings. 6. Produce & publish detailed Project Schedules for - (a) Project Agencies based on Time Lines committed by Vendors and CLIENT (with some buffer on Agencies' Schedule). (b) Review and obtain approval from CLIENT. To Analyze the schedule submitted by Vendors and suggest corrections if any. To see to it that vendors other than civil submit their schedules in tune with civil programme. Review of resources deployed with respect to above and initiate action with the vendors for enhancement of resources if required. To act proactively for any possible slippage in the programme. Review of planned progress versus actual achieved. Monthly reports (Procurement, Works progress and Cost report) to managements, clients and all other stakeholders. Compile Weekly Status Report - Work Report, and Updated Schedule. Circulate Report every week to CLIENT. Periodical updating of Master Construction Program and Cost reports in consultation with Project Lead / Construction Managers. Maintaining List of Events quantum of delay which leads to extension of time. To maintain documentation of all activities at site. Compile a Schedule for handover of packages at least 7 days prior to Completion. Circulate discuss, and agree Handover Schedule with Design Consultants and all vendors. To maintain proper track of PO, Invoices and statutory documentation. Updating the BG and Payment Tracker .
