Job Title: FXMM & OTC Derivatives Associate

Job Overview

The FXMM Derivative Back Office team manages end-to-end settlement processes for FXMM and OTC Derivative products, as well as Money Market activities. The team collaborates closely with marketers, sales, and various internal functions across APAC & EMEA to deliver client-focused post-trade support.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced FXMM & OTC Derivatives Associate who will handle 100% BAU operational activities, ensuring accuracy in Accounting Controls and Position processes while maintaining full compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Process payments for Value Date and Value Date -1, ensuring timely clearance of all transactions.
Create manual payments via SWIFT Alliance; strong knowledge of MT103, MT202, and MTMX messages is essential.
Process and approve Corporate and Inter-bank trades within required timelines.
Manage cash settlements with onshore and offshore clients.
Perform cash management activities related to funding trades.
Execute End-of-Day (EOD) reconciliations and ensure accuracy across all systems.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues promptly.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and operational risk controls.
Collaborate effectively with global teams to deliver high-quality post-trade services.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or related fields.
Minimum 4 years of experience in operations, including at least 2 years in FXMM and OTC Derivatives.
Strong understanding of FXMM and OTC derivative products, processes, and market workflow.
Practical knowledge of financial instruments such as equities, bonds, ETD/OTC derivatives, and corporate actions.
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk management principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days only (mandatory requirement).
