Role Description

This is a contract, remote role for an FX Artist. The FX Artist will work closely with a creative team to design and execute visually compelling effects for films, animation, and game projects. Responsibilities include using industry-standard tools to create effects in areas such as animation, compositing, and lighting while ensuring quality standards and project timelines are met. Collaboration with other artists and teams is a key element of this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Houdini for VFX workflows
• Expertise in Lighting and Compositing techniques for creating visually stunning effects
• Strong understanding of Animation principles and their application in VFX
• Experience in Game Development and integrating effects into game engines
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work remotely and meet deadlines effectively
• Relevant degree or equivalent industry experience is preferred
