Furniture Draftman

Role Overview: As a skilled Furniture Draughtsman, your main responsibility will be to prepare accurate, production-ready drawings for furniture projects, such as modular wardrobes, kitchens, and loose furniture. You should have a strong understanding of furniture joinery, materials, and hardware, and be proficient in AutoCAD. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed 2D/3D drawings of furniture designs using AutoCAD. - Translate conceptual sketches and design briefs into precise technical drawings suitable for production. - Collaborate with designers, engineers, and production teams to ensure practical and accurate drawings. - Maintain and update drawings based on design changes or project requirements. - Verify dimensions, materials, and hardware specifications in drawings. - Ensure drawings adhere to company standards and client specifications. - Assist in material take-offs and production documentation. - Review shop drawings and provide technical inputs for smooth production. Qualifications Required: - Proficient in AutoCAD (2D & 3D). - Strong knowledge of furniture joinery, finishes, and materials. - Ability to read, interpret, and create detailed technical drawings. - Good attention to detail and accuracy. - Strong communication and coordination skills. - Prior experience in interior furniture projects is a plus.
