Furniture Designer

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Furniture Designer located in Bengaluru. The Furniture Designer will be responsible for designing and prototyping furniture, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring high-quality outcomes. The role involves concept development, material selection, and leading design projects from ideation to production. The designer will also focus on creating innovative and functional pieces tailored to client needs and aesthetic preferences.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Furniture Design, Carpentry, and Furniture construction
• Proficiency in Interior Design and Product Design processes
• Strong ability to create prototypes, select materials, and ensure production feasibility
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools
• Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Furniture Design, or related field is preferred
• Experience in the furniture or interior design industry, with a strong portfolio of past work
