Furniture Designer

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Furniture Designer, located in Mumbai. The Furniture Designer will be responsible for creating and developing unique furniture designs, collaborating with carpenters, and working closely with clients to understand their needs. Daily tasks will include designing furniture pieces, selecting appropriate materials, and ensuring designs are functional and aesthetically pleasing. The role also involves coordinating with the production team to ensure designs are accurately translated into the final product.

Qualifications

• Furniture Design and Product Design knowledge
• Experience in Carpentry and working with various types of materials
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of design software and tools (solidworks/fusion/rhino3D)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Furniture Design, Interior Design, Product Design, or related field is preferred.
