Job Summary: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Furniture Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing innovative furniture and décor designs that blend functionality, aesthetics, and brand identity. You will work closely with the production, marketing, and sales teams to bring design concepts to life from sketch to showroom. Key Responsibilities: Develop original furniture concepts based on design trends, client needs, and brand aesthetics. Create detailed sketches, 2D/3D renderings, and technical drawings using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, SolidWorks). Select appropriate materials, finishes, and construction techniques suited for high-quality production. Collaborate with craftsmen, engineers, and suppliers to refine prototypes and ensure feasibility. Conduct market research to stay updated with trends in materials, finishes, and user preferences. Visit production units or vendor workshops to oversee design implementation and quality. Prepare mood boards, design presentations, and sample boards for internal and client reviews. Ensure all designs meet safety, ergonomics, and durability standards. Coordinate with the marketing team for photoshoots, catalog design, and product naming. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or a related field. 2–5 years of experience in furniture or product design preferred. Proficiency in design and visualization software (AutoCAD, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.). Strong knowledge of materials like metal, wood, glass, and upholstery. Excellent sense of form, proportion, color, and detailing. Good communication and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualities: Experience in metal furniture or luxury design segment is a plus. Understanding of production techniques (welding, powder coating, CNC cutting, etc.).
