Furniture Designer

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Furniture Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will conceptualize, design, and oversee the production of high-quality, innovative, and functional furniture pieces. This role requires a blend of artistic talent, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative and practical furniture designs that align with company standards and customer needs.
• Create detailed sketches, 3D models, and technical drawings using design software (e.g., Adobe photoshop, illustrator and 3d software).
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and the production team to ensure designs meet functional and aesthetic requirements.
• Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, and manufacturing techniques.
• Oversee prototyping and testing to ensure quality, durability, and compliance with safety standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends, sustainability practices, and emerging technologies.
• Work closely with production teams to resolve any technical issues during manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Furniture Designer, with a portfolio showcasing design projects.
• Proficiency in design and rendering software.
• Strong understanding of materials, ergonomics, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices is a plus.
