Fund Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and manage an equity fund with a strong focus on the pharmaceuticals and healthcare sector for a leading financial services group in India. The organization has a significant presence across broking, asset management, investment banking, and wealth management. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and executing investment strategies that leverage opportunities within the pharma industry while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk frameworks. You will report to the Executive Director and your key responsibilities will include generating product ideas, formulating strategies for portfolio rebalancing on a fortnightly basis, and managing the inclusion and exclusion of index constituents quarterly and semi-annually to minimize the scheme's impact. Additionally, you will monitor regulatory changes, develop offering documents, conduct ad-hoc analysis, and collaborate with the research analyst team to enhance existing products and create new ones. To excel in this role, you must possess a sound understanding of equity markets, hold an MBA or CA qualification, and have over 15 years of experience in equity investment. Exceptional analytical skills are essential to thrive in this dynamic environment. You will also need to adhere to SEBI guidelines and the company's internal Risk Management Framework while effectively coordinating with various stakeholders.
