Fund Administrator

As a Fund Administrator at HSBC, your main responsibilities will include: - Processing transactions accurately and in a timely manner related to Transfer Agency functions in Bangalore, such as Subscription, Redemption, Switches, and Transfers from investors into and from the fund. - Reporting to interested parties like Fund Accountants, Investors, Distributors, Fund/Asset Management Companies. - Handling Investor Onboarding, Account Set up, and Maintenance. - Performing End of Day Activities. - Updating Corporate Action and Fund Price to the system. - Executing any other activities associated with Transfer Agency functions that may be introduced in the future. Qualifications: - A Commerce Graduate is essential, while a Post Graduate degree in commerce and Accounts would be an added advantage. Professional Skills & Experience: - Desirable knowledge of the securities industry, Mutual funds, hedged funds, and the role of Transfer Agents, Registrars, Custodian, etc. Personal Skills & Qualities: - Clear and effective communication skills in English, both oral and written. - Ability to work across a broad range of cultures in support of HSBC Group values and objectives. - Strong attention to detail. - Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word. - Strong team player and capable of working well independently. Additional desirable skills: - CISI - Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment Certifications. - Previous experience in Transfer Agency & Registrar operations. - Understanding of Market and Mutual Fund operations would be advantageous.
