As a Fund Accountant with 8 years of experience, you will be responsible for managing fund accounting operations across various asset classes and demonstrating expertise with Geneva software. Your primary duties will include executing accurate trade processing, ensuring reconciliation, and collaborating with custodians and counterparties to address discrepancies. Additionally, you will be tasked with maintaining proper records in GLS, supporting audits, preparing timely financial statements, and ensuring compliance with IFRS. Your role will also involve analyzing and reporting the financial performance of funds. To excel in this position, you must possess a strong background in fund accounting, hands-on experience with Advent Systems or Geneva, and a deep understanding of mutual fund operations. Proficiency in handling local, regional, and international equities, as well as money market, fixed income, and multi-assets and multi-class instruments, is essential. You should also be familiar with corporate actions, FX management, cash and holding reconciliations, trade processing, custodian and counterparty coordination, bookkeeping, General Ledger Systems (GLS), financial statement preparation, reporting, IFRS compliance, advanced Excel, and financial modeling. This role offers an onsite opportunity in either Mumbai or KSA, depending on the level of experience. The base location for this position may vary, with the work location in KSA for senior positions with over 8 years of relevant experience and in Mumbai for junior levels with up to 7 years of relevant experience. The working days for this role are from Sunday to Thursday, and the mode of interview is virtual or online. Immediate joiners are preferred, and the CTC range is 18 LPA based on experience.
