We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Fund Administrator

Business: Securities Services – Transfer Agency

Principal responsibilities

To process the following transactions accurately and in a timely manner pertaining to Transfer Agency functions in Bangalore.

  • Subscription, Redemption, Switches and Transfers from the investors into and from the fund.
  • Reporting to interested parties such as the Fund Accountants, Investors, Distributors, Fund/Asset Management Companies.
  • Investor Onboarding, Account Set up and Maintenance
  • Settlement and Reconciliation of the deals settled and payments received or made to the investors.
  • End of Day Activities.
  • Corporate Action and Fund Price updates to the system.
  • And any other activities pertaining to Transfer Agency functions which may be introduced in future.

Qualifications

  • Commerce Graduate is essential, Post Graduate degree in commerce and Accounts would be an added advantage.

Professional Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of securities industry, Mutual funds, hedged funds, role of Transfer Agents, Registrars, Custodian etc. are desirable

Personal Skills & Qualities:

  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively in English, both oral and written
  • Multi-cultural background or experience, ability to work across broad range of cultures in support of HSBC Group values and objectives
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills in Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Good team player and able to work well independently

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • CISI – Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment Certifications

  • Prior experience in Transfer Agency & Registrar operations

  • Understanding of Market and Mutual Fund operations desirable
