Fund accounting Operator

As a Fund Accounting Operator, AVP at Deutsche Bank's Fund administration team in Mumbai, India, you will play a crucial role in managing end-to-end processes related to securities, portfolio/fund valuation for client segments such as Mutual Fund, Alternative Investment Fund, Portfolio Managers, etc. You will have the opportunity to work with a top team in the fund industry and utilize a robust platform in the fund accounting space that allows customization as per local needs and regulations. Our experienced professionals will support your development, providing exposure to diverse funds including Money market, Equity, Arbitrage, Exchange-traded, hybrid funds, and more. Key Responsibilities: - Manage a team of 7-8 people for a specific function - Independently handle 3-4 clients, understanding their processes and reporting requirements - Manage ad-hoc data/report requests with strict adherence to quality standards and timelines - Reconcile NAV, income accruals, NAV validation, and analysis - Review Bank and Holding reconciliations, resolving any breaks - Process and verify all trades in the system - Valuation/pricing of securities - Coordinate with clients and Registrars for trade instructions - Compute Income equalization and distributable surplus - Disseminate NAV to the Press, Registrar, etc. - Coordinate audit and finalize accounts Qualifications Required: - 15+ years of experience - Knowledge of Mutual Fund Accounting and operations - Understanding of capital/financial/derivative markets - Familiarity with various valuation tools and methodologies - Strong communication and presentation skills At Deutsche Bank, a culture of empowerment is fostered where employees excel together every day, acting responsibly, thinking commercially, taking initiative, and working collaboratively.
