Job Purposes

Opportunity for a highly motivated & self-driven professional to join our global Fund Accounting team. This role demands a multi-faceted skillset as you will partner with other lines of business and offshore partners providing oversight and support of daily production, with an overall focus on accurate and timely delivery of projects. Individual work closely with global business partners.

Role & responsibilities

  • Prepare daily cash reporting for active private equity secondaries funds. Involving collating data from administrators, banking providers, and internal forecasts and using internal data visualization tool to refresh and review the report.
  • Reconcile movements in capacity, loan balances and forecast capacity to prior day reporting. Adjust manual forecast data for new deals and other uncertain cash flows based on the latest information.
  • Review cash management proposals from administrators for internal cash movements within the fund structures and instruct them to make any additional cash movements as required.
  • Review short term forecast for each fund and vehicle to formulate proposal for near term cash management including loan drawdowns/repayments, Money Market Fund subscriptions/redemptions, and FX trades.
  • Liaise with fund owners within the Treasury team to review and agree proposals.
  • Prepare loan instructions and FX instructions to send to administrators and other 3rd party service providers.
  • Close collaboration with the treasury team, including daily meeting on cash management topics to discuss whats happened in the day, what to consider for next few days, and medium-term investor cash flow planning

Preferred candidate profile

  • Post-graduate / CFA / CA / MBA / CCRA / CIIA / CAIA & equivalent.
  • 4 + years of experience in fund accounting is preferred.
  • Managing and/or leading employees for 2-3 years.
  • Strong interpersonal & teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of PCAP and quarterly preparing PCAP.
  • Ability to work hands-on, delving into projects with a strong attention to detail and emphasis on producing a high-quality work product. Experience working independently, proactively identifying or initiate ways to enhance a process, procedure or outcome that benefits the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize a large and varied workload, managing multiple tasks and details simultaneously.
  • Ability to show initiative, willingness to learn and take on responsibilities as contributing team members either in a lead or in a backup role to ensure team success.
  • Should be solutions focused and can work in unstructured environments under minimum or no supervision.
  • Willing to acknowledge what is not understood and seek assistance. Knowledge of MS Office with strong skills in MS Word and MS Excel Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
