Role: Functional Test Engineer

Location: Bangalore/ Pune

Work Mode: Hybrid (2 Days office, 3 days WFH)

Notice: Immediate who can join within 15 days

Requirements:

• 6-9 Years of experience in Functional testing
• Associate must have experience in Designing and creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual testing and good to have similar experience in automation testing.
• Minimum 6 years of experience into Quality Assurance with strong testing concepts, including but not limited to STLC, End to end testing, integration testing, Smoke testing & regression testing.
• Analyze and understand the functional requirement. Responsible for project testing approach and coordination.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of the testing process and methodologies.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and working closely with all project stake holders.
• Executing test cases and reporting defects, ensuring comprehensive test coverage of applications.
• Knowledge in Defect Life Cycle and Defect management tool like JIRA, HP ALM, Zephyr.
• Collaborating with software developers and business analysts to identify and resolve software defects.
• Participating in the review and analysis of business requirements to ensure testability.
• Providing input into the software development lifecycle to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Keeping abreast of industry best practices and new technologies in software testing.
• Communicating effectively with cross-functional teams to drive quality and efficiency in the development process.
• Experience in Web Services Testing (REST/SOAP) using test tool like SOAP UI/ Postman
• Mentoring and coaching team members to improve testing skills and efficiency.
• Good to Have Skills: Experience with test automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of CI-CD Pipeline and SCM tools will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of insurance domain will be an added advantage.
• Focus on delivery through collaboration, ability to bring people together to work towards the same purpose. Ability to empower teams to act autonomously, think out of the box and hold them accountable.
