Working times: UK Hours / US EST hours

About the Role:

As a Functional Engineer (FE), you will play a key role in supporting full-horizon Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Inventory Planning functions. This is a hands-on position involving configuration and development across SAP APO and related systems to deliver impactful business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in business requirement and discovery discussions with project teams to define Supply and Demand Planning needs.
• Collaborate with client project teams to refine and validate technical requirements.
• Lead the design phase and ensure alignment of APO configuration with finalized business requirements.
• Configure SAP APO SNP and Arete P10 applications based on approved design.
• Manage system integration between SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Conduct unit testing and support system testing and UAT phases.
• Support go-live activities and provide Hypercare support post-deployment.
• Create detailed documentation and ensure smooth transition to support teams.

Required Qualifications

• Education:

  Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Experience:

  Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in configuring and supporting SAP APO modules, with deep expertise in:
• APO SNP (Optimizer & Deployment mandatory)
• APO PPDS, DSPB, and Heuristics – mandatory
• CIF (Core Interface) configuration and reconciliation management
• Working knowledge of user exits in SNP and CIF preferred
• Proven experience collaborating with business users to identify, document, and validate functional requirements and testing criteria.
