Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Functional AI Engineer to join our team and lead the development of custom knowledge-based AI models and large language model (LLM) implementations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing, with a focus on building innovative AI solutions that leverage knowledge-based systems and generative AI use cases. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement knowledge-based AI models and LLMs to solve complex business problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven solutions and develop custom use cases. - Conduct research and stay updated on the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and NLP technologies. - Optimize and fine-tune AI models for performance, accuracy, and scalability. - Develop and maintain documentation for AI models, algorithms, and processes. - Ensure the ethical and responsible use of AI technologies in all implementations. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior AI engineers and data scientists. - Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Evaluate and integrate third-party AI tools and platforms as needed. - Monitor and analyze the performance of AI models, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or masters degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field. - Proven experience in developing and implementing knowledge-based AI models and LLMs. - Strong programming skills in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar AI frameworks. - Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and understanding of language models. - Familiarity with data management, data mining, and data visualization techniques. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively. - Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Experience in the paints industry or similar sectors is a plus.
