Job Summary

Microsoft Dynamics CRM Functional Consultant


Roles and Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering & Analysis

  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand their

    processes, pain points, and requirements

    .
  • Conduct

    workshops and interviews

    to gather functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Document detailed business and system requirements, ensuring clarity and completeness.
  • Perform

    Fit-Gap analysis

    to assess how Microsoft Dynamics CRM meets business needs and identify customization needs.

Solution Design & Configuration

  • Define

    functional specifications

    for CRM implementations, including workflows, business rules, and automation.
  • Configure Microsoft Dynamics CRM components, including

    entities, fields, forms, views, dashboards, workflows, and security roles

    .
  • Collaborate with the technical team to define

    custom development

    requirements.

Implementation & Deployment

  • Assist in CRM solution design, prototyping, and testing activities.
  • Work closely with

    developers and testers

    to ensure the correct implementation of business requirements.
  • Support

    data migration

    activities, including mapping and cleansing of data.
  • Conduct

    user training

    and prepare training materials to ensure smooth user adoption.

Post-Implementation Support & Enhancements

  • Provide

    post-go-live support

    , troubleshooting, and resolution of system issues.
  • Gather user feedback and recommend

    enhancements

    for process improvements.
  • Assist in system upgrades, enhancements, and integration with

    third-party applications

    .

Stakeholder Communication & Documentation

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including

    Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Design Documents (FDD), and User Manuals

    .
  • Act as a

    liaison

    between business users and the technical team to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Provide

    regular status updates

    and reports to project stakeholders.


Key Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience

    in Microsoft Dynamics CRM

    functional consulting

    .
  • Strong knowledge of

    Dynamics 365 CE modules

    , including

    Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and Field Service

    .
  • Experience in

    requirement gathering, documentation, and Fit-Gap analysis

    .
  • Understanding of CRM

    configuration, workflows, business process flows, and automation

    .
  • Knowledge of

    Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI)

    is an added advantage.
  • Experience with

    data migration, integration, and user training

    .
  • Excellent

    communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

    .
  • Ability to work

    independently and collaboratively

    with cross-functional teams.


Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to travel

    both

    domestically and internationally

    as per project needs.
  • Open to working in different time zones

    , based on client location and project requirements.
  • Work from office

    is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with

    project management methodologies

    such as Agile or Scrum is a plus.
  • Strong

    documentation, presentation, and client-facing communication skills

    are essential.
  • Exposure to

    integration tools

    like KingswaySoft, Scribe, Azure Logic Apps, or working with APIs is an added advantage.
  • Experience in creating

    test cases, supporting UAT
