Job Description

Role Overview

An L1 Functional Consultant works as a subject matter expert in specific business processes (functions) and acts as a bridge between business users and technical/solution teams. This role involves gathering business requirements, configuring systems, assisting in solution design, and ensuring that the implemented systems align with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with business stakeholders to understand and map their business processes and requirements.
Document functional requirements, translate business needs into functional specifications.
Assist in designing solutions (configuration / setup) to meet those requirements, working closely with technical teams when necessary.
Configure the system module(s) as per requirements following best practices.
Support testing: prepare test cases, assist in executing functional tests, support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Assist in data migration, validation, cleansing where needed.
Provide end-user training and documentation.
Participate in workshops, requirement gathering sessions.
Support in post-implementation support and issue resolution.
Liaise with technical/architect teams for integrations, enhancements, customizations.
Ensure deliverables are aligned to quality standards, timelines, and project scope.
