Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement complex, maintainable, and scalable software systems
Design, develop, and maintain secure
RESTful
and
GraphQL APIs
Collaborate with product managers and data engineers to deliver high-quality solutions
Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance
Drive best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation
Identify and resolve technical debt and system bottlenecks
Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to engineering strategy
Support production systems through monitoring, troubleshooting, and on-call support as needed

Required Qualifications:

5+ years
of professional software development experience
Proficiency in at least one backend language:
Python
,
Java
,
Go
, or
Node.js
Strong experience with
RESTful
and
GraphQL API design
Expertise in API security practices,
OAuth

2.0
,
JWT
, and authentication mechanisms
Experience with distributed systems,
microservices
, and
event-driven architecture
Experience with API monitoring and logging systems
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (

) and containerization technologies
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
