Fullstack Developer

As a FullStack Developer at FYND, with over 3 years of experience, your primary responsibility will be to build scalable and loosely coupled services to enhance the platform. You will be tasked with developing bulletproof API integrations with various third-party APIs to cater to different use cases. Your role will also involve evolving the infrastructure to improve overall availability. In this position, you will have complete autonomy over your code, enabling you to choose the technologies and tools required to develop and operate large-scale applications on AWS. Moreover, you will be encouraged to contribute to the open-source community by sharing your expertise through code contributions and blog posts. Given that FYND is a startup, you should be prepared for frequent changes as the company continues to experiment with product enhancements. Specific requirements for this role include a minimum of 3 years of development experience, particularly in consumer-facing web/app products. Proficiency in JavaScript is essential, although exceptions can be made for candidates with expertise in other languages, provided they have experience in developing web/app-based tech products. Ideally, you should have hands-on experience with Node.JS and familiarity with frameworks such as Express.js, Koa.js, or Socket.io. A strong understanding of async programming using Callbacks, Promises, and Async/Await is necessary. Additionally, you should be proficient in frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, and AJAX, along with working knowledge of databases like MongoDB, Redis, and MySQL. A good grasp of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Operating Systems is crucial for this role. Experience with AWS services, including EC2, ELB, AutoScaling, CloudFront, and S3, is preferred. Knowledge of frontend stacks like HTML and CSS will be advantageous, and familiarity with Vue.js is a plus. While you may not be familiar with all the tools used at FYND, you should demonstrate a willingness to learn with the guidance and available resources. Your ability to adapt to new technologies and contribute effectively to the team's goals will be key to your success in this role.,
