Design and implement secure authentication (OAuth, JWT, Azure AD, or other relevant methods). Set up user roles and permissions within the application. Integrate authentication with Azure services (eg, Azure AD B2C, Azure Functions, or Azure App Service Authentication). Ensure session management, token handling, and security best practices. Work closely with the existing team to integrate authentication into the React/TypeScript frontend and FastAPI backend. Provide documentation and knowledge transfer for future development and maintenance. Required Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in authentication implementation for web applications. Experience with Azure-based authentication solutions (Azure AD, Azure B2C, Managed Identity, etc). Strong knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and session management. Experience with FastAPI and Python for backend authentication logic. Experience with React and TypeScript for frontend authentication integration. Understanding of security best practices (CORS, CSRF protection, rate limiting, etc). Ability to work independently and collaborate with the team remotely. Proficiency in Git for version control and collaboration.
