Fullstack Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Development & Architecture

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications using NestJS

(backend), NextJS (frontend), and PostgreSQL (database)

• Contribute to application architecture and technical design decisions.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services as needed.

• Code & Design Review

• Perform detailed code reviews to ensure best practices, code quality, and

performance optimization.

• Review and provide feedback on software designs and architecture

documentation.

• Team & Vendor Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, and

DevOps.

• Manage and coordinate with third-party vendors and offshore development

teams.

• Monitor vendor performance, ensuring adherence to coding standards, timelines,

and deliverables.

• Mentoring & Training

• Mentor and train in-house junior developers to build internal technical

capabilities.

• Create and maintain internal documentation, coding standards, and onboarding

materials.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in NestJS and NextJS, with at least 3 years of professional experience

in NestJS.

• Good understanding of RESTful API development, JWT authentication, and middleware

architecture.

• Proficient in version control tools (Bitbucket, Git/GitHub or GitLab) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with Docker, Nginx, and Linux-based deployments is a plus.

• Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with internal stakeholders and

vendors.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an office setting.

• Must have excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Knowledge of Design Patterns and Principles like SOLID, DRY etc. required.

• Hands-on experience in implementation of responsive designs.

• Experience in implementation of stateless and stateful (redux) applications in React.

• Knowledge of best practices used in React and Node development is must.

• Experience in enforcing usage of system validations and secure code guidelines.

• Strong understanding of ORM to query database.

• Experience in developing Rest APIs (synchronous and asynchronous microservices build)

or integrating with 3rd party Rest APIs.

• Experience in doing logical and structural code reviews to maintain code quality and

provide constructive feedbacks.

• Working knowledge of GCP components and integration using Redis, Secret Manager,

Cloud Logs, Functions, PubSub, AlloyDB etc.

• Experience in using GKE, Compute for build of scalable systems.

• Understanding of creating technical system workflows for documentation.

• Experience in structuring and writing system validations and rules.

• Experience in building automated DB deployments using tools like Liquibase.

• Solid experience with PostgreSQL (designing schemas, writing queries, performance

tuning).

• Good to have knowledge of advance database concepts like partitioning, replication,

locking etc.

• Knowledge of normalization and entity relations in database.

• Knowledge of SCRUM (Agile methodology) is added advantage.

• Knowledge of JIRA or equivalent tool for story management and agile delivery.

• Knowledge of reporting tool will be an added advantage.
