Full stack Enterprise Applications Architect

Role Overview: Join Caterpillar Inc. as a seasoned Full stack Enterprise Applications Architect (Lead Digital Architect) to lead high-performing engineering teams in developing scalable, secure, and innovative Enterprise grade Applications. Your role will include providing technical leadership, fostering team development, and strategically collaborating to align engineering efforts with business objectives. The preferred location for this position is in Chennai - Brigade World Trade Center & Bangalore PSN office-KA, India. Key Responsibilities: - Drive the design, development, and deployment of robust software systems in alignment with organizational goals. - Support project planning, resource allocation, and performance tracking to ensure timely and quality delivery. - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Implement and optimize engineering processes, tools, and infrastructure for efficiency and scalability. - Ensure adherence to architectural standards, security best practices, and compliance requirements. - Provide technical guidance in Java Services, Angular/React Web frontend, cloud platforms (AWS), microservices, and DevOps practices. - Support the career development of technical personnel and recruitment efforts. - Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliverables. Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of Enterprise software product development experience with strong coding and architectural skills. - 5+ years of experience in Application development involving multiple agile teams and driving technical decisions. - Proficiency in Java, Angular/React, cloud services (AWS/Azure), CI/CD, and modern architectural patterns. - Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and application security. - Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, Azure Service Bus, etc.) and API tools (Bruno/Postman, Swagger). - Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, with hands-on experience in Java/React and Angular. - Proficiency in web technologies like HTML5, CSS3, etc. - Exposure to Quality Assurance standards and Unit Testing/End-to-end testing technologies. - Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker and ECS or Kubernetes. - Willingness to work in EAME Shift (1PM to 10PM IST). - This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
