Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview: You will be joining the Commercial Bank Tribe, focusing on the special needs of small and medium enterprise clients in Germany, with a designated area for further growth and investment within Corporate Bank. Your responsibility will involve the digital transformation of 800,000 clients in 3 brands through the establishment of the BizBanking platform, development of digital sales and service processes, and automation of processes for this client segment. The tribe is currently undergoing extensive digitalization of business processes and migrating applications to the cloud, working in an agile setup with business colleagues and engineers from other areas to achieve a highly automated and adoptable process and application landscape. Key Responsibilities: - Work across backend, frontend, infrastructure, and data engineering domains. - Design, build, and scale cloud-based applications. - Productionalize backend services with a focus on performance, security, and maintainability. - Support DevOps workflows including infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines. - Ensure seamless integration of APIs and backend systems. - Collaborate with product and business teams to translate user stories into technical solutions. - Contribute in an agile environment, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. - Demonstrate technical excellence and establish best practices for the team. - Provide feedback to improve the team's way of working. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer, Software Engineer, or Backend Engineer. - Proficiency in Python and Java with a commitment to maintainable, modular, reusable code following clean code principles. - Hands-on experience with tools and frameworks like Apache Beam, Spring Boot, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD tools, and GitHub Actions. - Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider: GCP, AWS, or Azure. - Experience with JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks. - Strong understanding of software architecture and system integration. - Familiarity with DevOps and infrastructure practices. - Experience working in agile methodologies and delivering business-driven solutions. - Proven track record of owning and driving initiatives from start to finish. - Passionate about actively shaping team culture and serving as a positive role model.
