As a Full Stack Developer (React Native) at Skien Software Lab, you will play a crucial role in developing high-quality cross-platform mobile applications using React Native. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing, testing, and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications using React Native. - Architecting and implementing clean, responsive, and intuitive UIs with a focus on performance and user experience. - Designing, integrating, and consuming RESTful APIs and backend services (Node.js, Express, Firebase). - Debugging, profiling, and optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability. - Collaborating with designers, product managers, and other developers to translate requirements into technical solutions. - Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. - Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality and sharing knowledge with the team. Qualifications required for this role include: - 1+ years of professional experience in mobile app development with React Native. - Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and a deep understanding of the React/React Native ecosystem. - Proven experience in building user-facing features with a strong UI/UX sensibility. - Expertise in styling with CSS, Flexbox, and modern UI libraries like NativeBase, Tamagui. - Hands-on experience with state management solutions like Redux (Toolkit) or Context API. - Practical experience in integrating with RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data. - Backend familiarity with Node.js, Express, and databases (SQL or NoSQL). - Proficiency with version control using Git. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Nice to have skills include experience with Firebase services, knowledge of automated testing suites, experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications, and understanding of native build tools.
