FSO BTC RE-Manager

As a Tax Manager at EY, you will play a crucial role in planning engagements, managing client accounts, and ensuring the quality of Tax Compliance products. You will serve as a point of contact for engagements and provide guidance to Assistant Managers. Your responsibilities will include: - Reviewing U.S. Federal (Form 1120), State, and local income tax returns, along with estimates and extensions - Conducting detailed reviews of supporting work papers related to tax returns - Meeting client deliverables within set deadlines while maintaining quality - Managing client engagements, staffing, and engagement economics - Establishing relationships with client personnel and delivering exceptional client service - Working with new and emerging technologies - Managing end-to-end deliverables for clients To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and attributes: - Ability to delegate work effectively and help the team meet goals - Conducting performance reviews and providing mentorship - Fostering teamwork and maintaining cooperative relationships - Supporting recruitment activities - People management skills and the ability to build a cohesive team To qualify for this position, you must have: - A bachelor's degree/M.B.A in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline - Certification as an Enrolled Agent or CPA - 8 to 10 years of experience in U.S. Corporate/Partnership Income tax compliance - Experience in U.S. Tax accounting Ideally, you will also have: - Awareness of other taxes in the US - Ability to interpret and apply tax legislation At EY, we seek experienced tax professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional services.
