FSO BTC RE-Manager

As a Tax Manager at EY, your primary responsibility will be planning engagements, managing client accounts, validating and evaluating client information, generating Tax Compliance products, and ensuring quality. You will also serve as a point of contact for engagements and act as a counsellor for Assistant Managers. **Key Responsibilities:** - Review U.S. Federal (Form 1120), State, and local income tax returns, including estimates and extensions - Conduct detailed reviews of supporting work papers related to Federal and State income tax returns - Meet client deliverables within set deadlines while maintaining quality - Adhere to practice protocols and internal processes consistently - Manage client engagements, including staffing and economics - Establish relationships with client personnel while delivering exceptional service - Utilize proficiency in new technologies and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Manage end-to-end client deliverables **Skills And Attributes For Success:** - Delegate work successfully to all staff levels - Help the team meet set goals - Conduct performance reviews, mentor staff, and provide feedback/training - Foster teamwork, lead by example, and continually develop skills - Maintain cooperative relationships with other engagement teams - Articulate and support U.S. Business Tax Compliance group strategies - Manage a team with diversified skill sets - Support recruitment activities - Demonstrate people management skills and build cohesive teamwork **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree/M.B.A in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline - Certified Enrolled Agent or CPA - 8 to 10 years of experience in U.S. Corporate/Partnership Income tax compliance - Experience in U.S. Tax accounting **Additional Details of the Company:** EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a dynamic and global delivery network operating across six locations.
