Job Description

Role Overview: As a Sales Executive (Off-Roll) at Berger Paints India Limited in Chennai, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in field sales, dealer relationship management, and influencer engagement within the building materials sector. Your primary goal will be to drive sales growth, enhance channel relationships, and increase market presence. Key Responsibilities: - Primary Sales Execution: - Generate and manage primary sales from assigned dealers in your territory. - Monitor dealer performance, ensure consistent order flow, and manage stock rotation. - Dealer Relationship Management: - Regularly interact with dealers to address concerns, resolve issues, and offer product and scheme-related support. - Ensure dealer satisfaction and loyalty through effective service and communication. - Influencer Engagement & Network Expansion: - Collaborate with existing influencers to boost secondary sales and enhance brand preference at the site level. - Identify and onboard new influencers to broaden reach and fortify dealer-influencer partnerships. - Site Visits & Business Conversion: - Visit ongoing and new construction sites to promote Berger Paints products. - Convert potential opportunities by influencing key decision-makers and ensuring product supply through aligned dealers. - Training & Market Communication: - Conduct shop meetings and training sessions for dealers and influencers to update on product launches, schemes, business performance, and brand positioning. - Act as the frontline brand representative in the market. Qualification Required: - Experience: - Preferred: 12+ months of experience in field sales, business development, or project-based selling. - Open to Freshers with strong motivation and interpersonal skills. - Preferred Industry Backgrounds: - Telecom & DTH services. - Insurance & Financial products. - Consumer Durables. - Building Material Industry (e.g., Paints, Laminates, Plywood, Electricals, Cement, Pipes, Lubricants, Hardware, etc.). Key Skills & Attributes: - Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. - Self-driven with a focus on target achievement. - Ability to handle field operations and build a robust dealer network. - Willingness to travel locally and engage with stakeholders at all levels. - Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.,
