Frontend Web Developer

As a Frontend Web Developer (React.js) at our company, you will play a crucial role in developing fast, responsive, and scalable websites. Your passion for creating modern user interfaces that provide a seamless user experience across various devices will be key in this role. You will collaborate closely with designers and backend engineers to build and maintain our company website and other web-based applications using React.js. Your responsibilities will include developing, testing, and maintaining responsive web pages and components using React.js. You will also be tasked with converting Figma/Sketch designs into clean, maintainable code, building interactive UIs, and ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. Additionally, optimizing the website for performance, speed, and SEO best practices will be part of your daily tasks. Integrating APIs and managing state using tools like Redux or Context API will also be essential, along with ensuring accessibility (WCAG), responsiveness, and pixel-perfect execution. Collaboration with backend developers to ensure seamless integration and continuously improving the frontend codebase through refactoring and performance tuning will be integral to your success in this role. To be successful in this position, you should have a minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in React.js web development. A solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid), and JavaScript (ES6+), as well as experience working with REST APIs, Git, and component-based architecture, will be necessary. Strong grasp of responsive and mobile-first design principles, familiarity with browser dev tools and debugging best practices, and understanding of modern web development standards are also required. Bonus skills that would be beneficial for this role include familiarity with Next.js or static site generators (e.g., Gatsby), experience with headless CMS or WordPress REST API, knowledge of basic SEO for developers, exposure to web analytics tools like Google Analytics, and understanding of CI/CD workflows and hosting platforms like Vercel or Netlify.
