Role Overview

Frontend Engineer (SDE-III React.js)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and performant frontend applications using React.js.
• Act as the technical expert in the teamevaluate multiple solution approaches, drive architectural discussions, and guide the team in choosing optimal solutions.
• Ensure operational excellence including performance monitoring, incident management, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Build, monitor, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, testing, and deployment.
• Define and enforce best practices in coding, performance optimization, accessibility, and security.
• Review and validate software code developed by peers, ensuring quality and maintainability.
• Encourage automation and introduce processes for efficiency improvements and waste minimization.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Provide periodic updates and reports to management and stakeholders on project progress and KPIs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building world-class frontend applications (Web/Mobile).
• Expert-level knowledge in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, Redux (or other state management libraries).
• Strong experience with advanced frontend frameworks (ReactJS, PReactJS, Angular, Ember, etc.)
• Deep knowledge of Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse, SEO impact of frontend decisions.
• Deep understanding of build systems (Webpack, Rollup, etc.) including code splitting, minification, and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress) and CI/CD processes.
• Expertise in component-based UI architecture and frontend performance optimization.
• Proficient with Git and modern version control workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with prior experience guiding teams.
• Working knowledge of Agile principles, DevOps concepts, and security best practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Next.js or server-side rendering (SSR).
• Exposure to Micro-Frontends architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Hands-on experience with UI libraries (Material-UI, Ant Design, Tailwind CSS).
