Shopify Developer

About the Role: We are seeking a talented and motivated Shopify Storefront Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and customizing Shopify storefronts using Shopify Storefront APIs, extensions, and modern tools such as Hydrogen. You will work closely with our design, backend, and product teams to deliver fast, scalable, and engaging e-commerce experiences. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain custom Shopify storefronts using Shopify Storefront API, Hydrogen, and Shopify extensions. Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend engineers to translate designs and business requirements into functional front-end experiences. Optimize performance and responsiveness of storefronts across all devices. Integrate third-party APIs and Shopify apps to enhance store functionality. Maintain code quality, perform code reviews, and follow best practices in frontend development. Stay updated with the latest Shopify features, tools, and development trends (e.g., Oxygen, Hydrogen, metaobjects). Requirements: 24 years of hands-on experience developing Shopify storefronts, preferably with both custom themes and headless (Hydrogen) builds. Strong knowledge of Shopify Storefront APIs, GraphQL, and RESTful APIs. Experience working with Hydrogen or other React-based frameworks. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JS frameworks (React preferred). Experience creating or customizing Shopify extensions and Liquid templates. Familiarity with Shopify app ecosystem and third-party integrations. Good understanding of performance optimization, SEO principles, and accessibility. Nice to Have: Experience with Shopify Oxygen for deployment. Familiarity with modern tooling: Git, CI/CD, Headless CMS, etc. Exposure to A/B testing, analytics, or eCommerce performance tools.
