Frontend Developer

As a developer at our company, you will be part of a mission to bring all travel businesses online, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience. You will be working with a large and complex product that involves 147,887 lines of Ruby/Rails, 50,086 lines of AngularJS, and 106 tables in Postgres. Your role will be crucial in converting a complex offline process into a few effortless clicks for our users. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Designer/Product Manager to discuss specifications and understand the problems being solved. - Bring a fresh perspective to the table and question the approaches being taken. - Analyze design mockups and wireframes to implement user interactions effectively. - Fill gaps intelligently in the design, focusing on essential elements rather than obvious details like form validations and standard UI transitions. - Write clean, efficient code and ensure timely delivery of tasks. - Run the test-suite to maintain code quality and prevent build breaks. - Raise Pull Requests on Github for code review and feedback. - Push code to production after thorough testing and verification. Qualifications Required: - Familiarity with Bootstrap and other modern web development frameworks. - Strong understanding of JavaScript, including its quirks and workarounds. - Experience with AngularJS is a plus, but a willingness to learn is equally valued. - Highly detail-oriented with a proactive approach to ensuring the UI functions as expected. - Ability to take ownership, work autonomously, and demonstrate initiative in problem-solving.
