As a developer for the IT Crew Obtain Pension Solutions at UBS, your primary responsibilities will include: - Working closely with the Requirements Engineer, the Solution Architect, and the Product Owner to translate requirements into tasks and stories for the development team - Being an active member of the development team (Backend & Frontend) to deliver software that enables business growth and strategy - Ensuring the highest quality delivery of software by implementing quality measures and checks - Managing the full development cycle, including proper documentation, unit testing, and test automation scripting - Supporting the team in the Crew with your own development skills and abilities Your expertise should include: - A B.S. degree (or similar) in Computer Science (or similar) and more than 7 years of frontend development experience (React or similar) - Expert knowledge of design patterns and distributed architecture, with a focus on delivering quality software using best practices in the chosen technology - Designing and implementing REST APIs, understanding full end-to-end integration - Strong SQL skills, RDBMS know-how (Oracle, PostgreSQL), and proficiency in creating DML / DDL scripts - Experience with Cloud native technology (Microservices, container technology) and DevOps - Experience with Flowable Business Process Automation - Familiarity with Agile Methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) - Excellent problem-solving skills, teamwork abilities, great communication skills, and fluency in English - Preferably 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry UBS is the world's largest and only truly global wealth manager, operating through four business divisions: Global Wealth Management, Personal & Corporate Banking, Asset Management, and the Investment Bank.
