Frontend Developer (React Js)

As a Frontend Developer specializing in React, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using React.js. Your key duties will include building and optimizing Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) with offline capabilities, push notifications, and responsive design. You will also implement mobile-first features to ensure cross-device compatibility and handle app packaging and distribution for various platforms such as Android and iOS via PWA standards. Collaborating with UI/UX designers and backend developers is essential to deliver high-quality user experiences. Furthermore, you will design, build, and maintain a scalable component library to promote UI consistency and reusability across projects. Ensuring cross-platform optimization and responsiveness of applications, optimizing application performance and loading times, and integrating APIs while managing state using modern tools like Redux and Context API are crucial aspects of the role. Additionally, you will be expected to implement and manage push notifications and background sync features, advocating for and implementing best practices in UI architecture. To excel in this position, you should stay updated with the latest trends in Web development and PWA capabilities. Experience in the hospitality services domain is considered a plus. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work both independently and in a team, proficiency in Agile methodologies and software development best practices, and familiarity with version control systems like Git are also required. We are seeking a candidate with at least 8 years of professional experience, a rich background in React.js and JavaScript/TypeScript, and a strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend tooling such as Vite, Webpack, and Babel. Hands-on experience in building and deploying PWAs, familiarity with Service Workers, Web App Manifests, and Caching Strategies, and knowledge of state management libraries like Redux, Zustand, or Context API are essential. Experience in responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, integrating RESTful APIs, and third-party services is expected, while familiarity with React Native is a plus. This is a contractual/temporary position for a duration of 6 months, with the work schedule set as a day shift and the requirement to work in person at the Gurugram location.,
