Frontend Developer

Lucent Innovation is seeking a talented and experienced Shopify Developer/Shopify Front End Developer to join their team in Ahmedabad. As a full-time, on-site role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality eCommerce websites on the Shopify platform. Your tasks will include front-end and back-end development, ensuring responsive design and exceptional user experiences. Collaboration with designers, clients, and other developers is essential to create seamless and effective online shopping solutions. Responsibilities include developing, customizing, and maintaining Shopify themes and applications, implementing complex functionalities using Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, optimizing website performance, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness. In front-end development, you will implement user interfaces based on design specifications, create clean and efficient code, and apply responsive design principles for optimal user experience across devices. Back-end development tasks involve understanding and implementing Shopify API integrations, developing custom Shopify applications, and managing store settings and functionalities. Collaboration and communication are key aspects of the role, as you will work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure project success. Participation in code reviews, effective communication with clients, and providing technical support and training when necessary are essential. Adherence to coding standards and best practices, managing project timelines effectively, staying updated with the latest Shopify trends, and contributing to team meetings are also part of the responsibilities. Qualifications: Must-Have: - 2-5 years of proven working experience as a Shopify Developer or Shopify Front End Developer. - Strong proficiency in Shopify theme customization and Liquid templating language. - Excellent command of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. - Solid understanding of responsive web design principles. - Experience with version control systems, preferably Git. Desired: - Experience with Shopify API integrations. - Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular). - Experience with e-commerce platforms and solutions. - Understanding of SEO best practices for e-commerce websites. - Experience with headless commerce implementations.
