About the Role

Frontend Architect / Technical Lead

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

Design and own the
frontend architecture
for digital banking products (e.g., Internet Banking, Loan Origination, Customer Onboarding, Payments).
Collaborate with backend (Nest.js / Java) teams to define secure and efficient API contracts.
Establish
UI frameworks, design systems, and component libraries
ensuring reusability, scalability, and compliance with accessibility and security standards.
Ensure adherence to
banking compliance and security guidelines (e.g., data masking, encryption, secure session management)
.

Development & Implementation

Develop complex and high-performing front-end modules using
React.js, Redux (or RTK), and TypeScript
.
Integrate seamlessly with backend services (Nest.js / Java microservices) via REST and GraphQL APIs.
Ensure responsive and accessible UI across multiple devices and browsers.
Implement
role-based access control (RBAC)
and
secure authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, SSO)
.

Technical Skills Required

Frontend

React.js, Redux / RTK, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+)
HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Styled Components, Material UI / Tailwind
Webpack / Vite, Babel, Linting & Formatting (ESLint, Prettier)
Unit / E2E Testing: Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress

Backend / Integration

Nest.js (Node.js framework)
Java (Spring Boot / Microservices)
RESTful APIs, GraphQL, gRPC
Microservices architecture, API Gateway, Circuit Breaker Patterns

Security & Compliance

OAuth2, JWT, SSO, SSL/TLS
Secure session handling, encryption, CSRF/XSS prevention
Familiarity with
PCI-DSS

ISO 27001
, or other banking compliance frameworks

Git, Jenkins / GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes
CI/CD pipelines
Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
