About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of our next-generation applications. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing technical standards, implementing best practices, and guiding our development team in building scalable, high-performance frontend solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement frontend architecture patterns using React, NextJS, and micro-frontend approaches
• Establish coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines for the frontend team
• Lead the technical design and implementation of complex user interfaces and frontend systems
• Develop and maintain component libraries and design systems using modern CSS and Tailwind
• Architect containerized frontend applications using Docker for consistent deployment
• Configure and optimize deployment pipelines to Azure App Service
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to frontend developers
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver cohesive solutions
• Evaluate new technologies and frameworks to continuously improve our frontend stack
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in frontend applications

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of professional experience in frontend development
• 6+ years of experience with JavaScript and modern frameworks (ES6+)
• 4+ years of experience with React and its ecosystem
• 3+ years of experience with NextJS for server-side rendering and static site generation
• Strong expertise in CSS architecture, including advanced layout techniques
• Experience with Tailwind CSS for rapid UI development
• Proven experience designing and implementing micro-frontend architectures
• Experience with containerization using Docker for frontend applications
• Knowledge of deployment and CI/CD processes, particularly with Azure App Service
• Understanding of frontend performance optimization and web vitals
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring developers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with state management solutions (Redux, Context API, Zustand, etc.)
• Knowledge of TypeScript and strong typing principles
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress
• Experience with module federation for micro-frontend implementations
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and implementation techniques
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD platforms
• Knowledge of frontend security best practices
• Experience with GraphQL or REST API design and consumption
