Front Office Receptionist

Key Responsibilities:

• Reception & Patient Handling
• Greet patients, visitors, and guests politely and professionally.
• Assist with patient registration, admission, and discharge process.
• Guide patients to the concerned departments/doctors.
• Telephone & Communication
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls.
• Maintain accurate communication between patients, doctors, and departments.
• Handle appointment bookings, confirmations, and rescheduling.
• Front Office Operations
• Maintain patient records and update hospital management system (HMS).
• Collect and verify patient details, ID proof, and documents.
• Handle inquiries regarding hospital services, visiting hours, and billing.
• Coordination & Support
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other staff for patient needs.
• Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the front office area.
• Manage courier, incoming/outgoing mails, and visitor registers.
• Cash & Billing (if applicable)
• Collect consultation fees, issue receipts, and maintain cash records.
• Support billing team for basic patient billing queries.

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Hospital Management Software).
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Customer service orientation with a pleasant personality.
