The Front Office Executive is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations of the front desk while delivering exceptional guest service. The role involves handling guest check-ins/outs, managing reservations, addressing guest queries, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining accurate records using IDS software.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process.
Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications through IDS PMS software and other OTA channels.
Handle guest requests, inquiries, and complaints professionally and promptly.
Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, and F&B departments for seamless guest service.
Ensure all guest data and billing information are accurately entered and updated in IDS.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room rates, packages, and promotions.
Prepare daily reports (arrival list, departure list, occupancy, and revenue reports).
Handle cash and credit card transactions responsibly and reconcile shift reports.
Assist in training new front office associates on IDS usage and guest handling standards.
Maintain the lobby area and front desk in a professional and welcoming manner.
Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, grooming standards, and safety protocols.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong working knowledge of IDS PMS (Front Office operations).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Customer service-oriented with a pleasant personality.
Good command of English (spoken and written).
Problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
Attention to detail, punctuality, and team spirit.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Email, Internet).
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in Front Office operations in a reputed hotel or resort.
Prior experience working with IDS PMS software is mandatory.
Preferred Experience:
Exposure to OTA handling and guest review management.
Experience in handling guest billing, cashiering, and night auditing.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
