Job Description

The role of a front-end web developer involves being responsible for the user interface of the website, requiring a solid understanding of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as a basic grasp of user interface and user experience (UI/UX) design. Your primary tasks will include translating wireframes and mock-ups into reusable code, creating high-quality UI components with scalability in mind, implementing new features on the WordPress platform, integrating plugins like WooCommerce, and conducting regular maintenance and performance enhancements. As a front-end developer, you will collaborate with back-end developers to connect UI components with APIs and databases, ensuring seamless functionality. You will be tasked with refining technical specifications and requirements based on UX design, identifying and resolving errors, optimizing performance, and performing on-site search engine optimization (SEO). It is crucial to produce top-notch, scalable, and reusable code while staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in developing modern, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue, as well as familiarity with libraries such as jQuery and Bootstrap, is essential. Moreover, expertise in HTML5, including semantic elements, microformats, and WAI-ARIA, along with knowledge of CSS preprocessors like Sass, Less, or Stylus, is required. Experience with SEO principles, build tools like Grunt, Gulp, or Webpack, basic proficiency in Photoshop and web design, and cross-browser compatibility testing are also expected. This position offers opportunities for full-time, fresher, or internship roles, with a contract length of 6 months. The benefits include paid sick time, with a work schedule during the day shift and an in-person work location. The candidate should have a total work experience of 1 year, although this is preferred rather than mandatory for the role.,
