Front End Engineer

As a Front-End Engineer with 5-8 years of experience, located in Chennai, you will be responsible for developing dynamic and responsive web applications that provide seamless user experiences. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code and ensuring that the applications perform smoothly across various browsers and devices. Your primary responsibilities will include building and maintaining modern, interactive, and scalable web applications using JavaScript or TypeScript. You will also be required to write semantic and accessible HTML5, along with modular, maintainable CSS. Working extensively with React.js or similar frameworks like Vue or Angular will be a key aspect of your job. You will need to develop responsive layouts that offer a consistent experience across all modern browsers and devices, adhering to mobile-first and adaptive design principles when necessary. Additionally, you will be translating UX/UI designs into fully functional web interfaces, collaborating with designers and backend developers to create cohesive products, and ensuring usability and accessibility best practices are implemented for a smooth user experience. The required skills for this role include proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, along with hands-on experience with React.js and a solid understanding of its ecosystem. Knowledge of version control systems like Git, responsive design techniques, and browser compatibility is also essential. Experience with audio or video on the web, familiarity with media-related browser APIs such as Media Source Extensions (MSE), Web Audio API, get UserMedia, Media Recorder, etc., and an interest in multimedia experiences and interactive UIs would be considered as bonus points.
