Front End Developer

As a Front-End Developer Intern at Underpin Services, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of user interfaces for our web applications. Working under the guidance of experienced developers, you will have the opportunity to enhance your skills and contribute to projects utilizing technologies such as React, Next.js, CSS, Sass, and Tailwind CSS. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting in the creation and upkeep of web applications using React and Next.js, applying CSS, Sass, and Tailwind CSS to enhance the visual appeal and functionality of web pages, collaborating with the development team to implement design mockups and features, adopting web development best practices for responsive and accessible design, participating in code reviews, and troubleshooting issues with the support of senior developers. To excel in this role, you should possess proficient knowledge of React and Next.js, be familiar with CSS, Sass, and Tailwind CSS, demonstrate an understanding of web development fundamentals and responsive design principles, exhibit a strong willingness to learn and thrive in a dynamic environment, showcase good communication skills and a collaborative mindset, and have previous project experience or a portfolio showcasing your work. Preferred qualifications include having recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Software Engineering, or a related field, engagement in coursework or personal projects related to front-end development, and familiarity with version control systems like Git.
