Starting from contributions to the software defined vehicle (SDV), automated driving, digital infotainment to automotive digital services.

About Unit:

Software Factory is the unit which is support functions for all vertical business domains. It is mainly focuses on developing various tools. The BMW Software Factory is a collection of tools and platforms that BMW uses to develop software for its vehicles:

CodeCraft - A software development platform that can run over 110,000 continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) builds per day

Edge Ecosystem - A tool that allows equipment like loading ramps and gates to be controlled centrally, which helps autonomous vehicles move around more easily

Job Description:

• Experienced in at least one of the following programming languages (sorted by priority): TypeScript/JavaScript,
• Experienced with CI/CD tooling like GitHub and GitOps
• Experienced for DevOps: 24/7 operations, monitoring
• Container/Docker experience: SWF services are configured as containers (for Kubernetes)
• Experience with Visual Studio Code Plugin Development
• Experience with JS Graph/Diagram Visualisation
• Experience with Front-End-Dev with HTML&CSS
• Experience with AWS: basic topics like S3 storage, hosted databases
• Familiar with GraphDB
• Familiar with working with REST APIs
• Familiar with cybersecurity and information security
